Placemaking in the healthcare space, Dr. Godwin is an integrative primary care physician certified by the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine.  She became interested in a holistic approach to health while at Brown University where she focused on community health. Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Godwin has now called Brooklyn home for the last 18 years.  She is currently affiliated with NYU and practices at Sullivan Street Medical.  Dr. Godwin has been practicing in New York City for over 10 years. Her areas of expertise include women’s health, thyroid health, and an integrative approach to primary care. She is passionate about expanding access to integrative medicine and empowering patients to have agency in their own healthcare.
